Seller pickups around Fort Lauderdale

Bought something from a private seller in Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Plantation or Davie? Send the item photo (measurements help), the pickup address and when the seller is home. We pick it up, wrap it in pads, and bring it to you.

Pay the seller yourself before we arrive.
Someone has to be at both ends: the seller at pickup, and you or someone you trust at drop-off.
We look the piece over at pickup and point out visible damage before we load it.

Beach condos and older buildings

Condos on Galt Ocean Mile, along A1A and downtown by the New River often want even one sofa to go up the service elevator, inside delivery hours, with a COI on file. Ask the front desk and send us what they say. A COI naming the building as additional insured is $75.

Older two-story apartment buildings in Victoria Park, Middle River and Sailboat Bend often have outside stairs. That's fine: tell us the floor and send a photo of the stairs so the price covers it.

Bridges and timing

Fort Lauderdale has drawbridges over the New River and the Intracoastal that open for boats, so cross-town trips take a little planning. Your flat price already covers the drive between the two addresses, so a bridge opening doesn't change what you pay.

Pricing

1–2 items are a flat rate, not hourly: no 2-hour minimum. Tell the chat what's moving (a photo or product link helps) plus the pickup and drop-off addresses, and you get one price in writing. Mention stairs, elevators, or assembly so the price covers them.

Extra work added on the day is billed at the hourly rate for the actual time, only after you agree to it. Bigger deliveries are hourly: $165/hour for 2 movers + a Sprinter van, 2-hour minimum ($330). Outside 7 AM–7 PM, flat and hourly prices are doubled. See pricing →

How much is it to move one couch in Fort Lauderdale?

It's a flat rate, not hourly, with no 2-hour minimum. Send the couch photo and both addresses in the chat and you get one price in writing.

Can you pick up from a seller in another city?

Yes. Pickups anywhere in Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach work the same way. Both addresses go into the flat price.

Will a sofa fit in my building's elevator?

Send the sofa's measurements and the elevator door and cab size if you have them. If it won't fit, we'll tell you before we come.

Can you take a washer or dryer?

Yes, unplugged, emptied and disconnected before we arrive. We don't do hookups, and we don't move large refrigerators.
