Upright pianos
We move upright pianos only. We don't move grand or baby grand pianos. The piano gets padded, strapped to a dolly, and loaded with a ramp. Stairs, tight turns, and long carries change the plan, so tell us about them up front. We move the piano; tuning after the move is up to your tuner.
Safes
We move home and office safes up to 500 lb. The safe must be empty and already unbolted from the floor or wall; we don't unbolt or drill. Please send the make and model or the weight, a photo, and photos of the path (steps, thresholds, flooring). Empty the safe before moving day.
What we need from you
- Photos of the item and the path at both ends
- Measurements or model number
- Number of steps and whether there's an elevator
- Floor types we'll roll over (we'll protect them)
Pricing
Upright piano: quoted in writing from photos and access details (stairs, elevator, distance). · Safe: quoted in writing from the make and model or weight and photos of the path; usually billed at our standard hourly rate ($165/hour, 2-hour minimum), and heavier safes need 2 crews.
Every specialty move gets a written estimate before the job.

Do you move grand pianos?
No. We move upright pianos only, not grand or baby grand pianos.
Is there anything else you won't move?
We don't move large refrigerators, grand or baby grand pianos, or safes over 500 lb. Safes must be empty and already unbolted from the floor or wall; we don't unbolt or drill. If something is outside what we can do safely, we'll tell you before the job.
Do I need to be there?
Yes, or someone you trust, at both pickup and drop-off.
