One-item moves in Delray Beach

A dresser from your old apartment near Atlantic Avenue to a house by Lake Ida. An armchair from a seller in a west Delray community to a condo on the Intracoastal. A sofa from your place to your daughter's townhome in Boynton Beach. One flat price for the piece and both addresses, not an hourly move.

One piece, Delray Beach addresses

  • Lake Ida, Seacrest and the older neighborhoods. Single-story homes, duplexes and small two-story buildings with outside stairs. Tell us the floor and whether the piece goes through a side gate.
  • Intracoastal and beach condos. Even one piece usually goes up the service elevator inside management's hours, and some buildings want a COI first. Send their rules when you ask for the price.
  • West Delray 55+ communities. Villas and garden condos along Military Trail, Atlantic Avenue and Linton Boulevard, each with a gate and an office. Leave our name with the guard.
  • Drawbridges. The bridges over the Intracoastal open for boats, so trips to the beach side take a little planning. The drive is already part of the flat price.

Private sellers and family moves

Most one-item jobs here are your own piece going to a new address, or a piece from a private seller or a family member's home. Send the item photo with measurements, both addresses and who will be there at each end.

  • Pay the seller yourself before we arrive.
  • Someone has to be at both ends: the seller or owner at pickup, and you or someone you trust at drop-off.
  • We look the piece over at pickup and point out visible damage before we load it.

What counts as a one-item move

Sofas, armchairs, recliners, mattresses and bed frames, dressers, dining tables, desks, TVs and media consoles. Also washers, dryers, and compact or standard (not oversized) refrigerators, unplugged, emptied and disconnected before we arrive: we don't do hookups. Two pieces still count. Three or more, or a whole room, is usually a small move.

Pricing

1–2 items are a flat rate, not hourly. Tell the chat what's moving (a photo or product link helps) plus the pickup and drop-off addresses, and you get one price in writing. Mention stairs, elevators, or assembly so the price covers them.

Extra work added on the day is billed at the hourly rate for the actual time, only after you agree to it. Bigger deliveries are hourly: $195 for the first hour, then $165/hour per crew (2 movers + a Sprinter van), in 30-minute increments. Outside 7 AM–7 PM, flat and hourly prices are doubled. A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building. Adding the building as additionally insured is $75.
