One-item moves in Miami Beach

A couch from a seller in Brickell to a walk-up in South Beach. A dresser from a condo on Collins Avenue to an apartment in North Beach. A bed frame from a store on the mainland, over the causeway to Mid-Beach. One flat price for the piece and both addresses, not an hourly move.

Getting one piece into a Miami Beach building

  • Condos. Many buildings on Collins Avenue and the bay side want even one sofa to come up the service elevator, inside set hours, with a COI on file. Ask management and send us what they say; a COI naming the building as additional insured is $75. Any fee or deposit the building charges is between you and the building.
  • Walk-ups. Older low-rise buildings in South Beach and North Beach often have no elevator and narrow stairwells. Tell us the floor and send a photo of the stairs; if it's in the request, it's in the flat price.
  • Parking. Curb space is tight. Tell us where a van can stop: a loading zone, the building's driveway, or the garage. Parking tickets aren't something we can cover, so the right spot matters.

Seller pickups and the causeways

Found it from a seller in Brickell, Edgewater, North Miami or Aventura? Send the item photo with measurements, the pickup address and when the seller is home. The trip over the MacArthur, Venetian, Julia Tuttle, 79th Street or Broad causeway is already part of the flat price.

  • Pay the seller yourself before we arrive.
  • Someone has to be at both ends: the seller at pickup, and you or someone you trust at drop-off.
  • We look the piece over at pickup and point out visible damage before we load it.

What counts as a one-item move

Sofas, mattresses and bed frames, dressers, dining tables, desks, TVs and media consoles. Also washers, dryers, and compact or standard (not oversized) refrigerators, unplugged, emptied and disconnected before we arrive: we don't do hookups. Two pieces still count. Three or more, or a whole apartment, is an hourly move: see Miami Beach condo and apartment moves.

Pricing

1–2 items are a flat rate, not hourly. Tell the chat what's moving (a photo or product link helps) plus the pickup and drop-off addresses, and you get one price in writing. Mention stairs, elevators, or assembly so the price covers them.

Extra work added on the day is billed at the hourly rate for the actual time, only after you agree to it. Bigger deliveries are hourly: $195 for the first hour, then $165/hour per crew (2 movers + a Sprinter van), in 30-minute increments. Outside 7 AM–7 PM, flat and hourly prices are doubled. A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building. Adding the building as additionally insured is $75.
