Moving from Miami to Tampa

A studio, a light 1-bedroom, a few pieces of furniture for a new place in Tampa or St. Petersburg: two movers load in Miami, drive it across the state in our Sprinter van, and carry it in at the other end. Same crew, one van, no transfer to another truck. We move only within Florida.

What this route is for

  • Small moves. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom. We don't have any big trucks, vans only, so a full house is not a fit for one trip.
  • Furniture and a few items. A sofa, a bed, a dresser and boxes going to family, a new apartment, or a second home on the Gulf side.
  • Student and job moves. A room or a small apartment moving to Tampa for school or work.

The route

Most trips leave Miami-Dade on Florida's Turnpike or I-75 and cross the state on I-75, either up the Gulf coast past Naples and Fort Myers or through Central Florida, depending on traffic and both addresses. At the Tampa end we deliver across Hillsborough and Pinellas: Downtown Tampa and Channelside condos, South Tampa, Brandon, Westchase, St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

Condo or apartment at either end? Send the building's move rules and elevator reservation hours for both buildings, so the loading and unloading windows line up.

Pricing

In-state moves are priced per job, not from an hourly rate card. Tell the chat what's moving (photos help), both addresses, the floors and elevators at each end, and your date, and you get one price in writing before the job. Nothing is added on the day unless you ask for extra work and agree to it first.

A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building, at either end.

Florida only. We move only within Florida: both addresses must be in Florida. We don't do out-of-state moves.

Miami to Tampa questions

How much does a Miami to Tampa move cost?

It depends on how much is moving and on both addresses, so the price is a quote, not a rate card. Send photos, both addresses and your date in the chat, and you get one price in writing before the job.

Can you move a whole house to Tampa?

We don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van fits about a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, ask about a second trip or a second van.

Do you also move people from Tampa to Miami?

Yes, routes run both ways. Send both addresses in the chat.

Can you move me out of Florida?

No. We move only within Florida: both addresses must be in Florida. We don't do out-of-state moves.

Do you need a COI for my building?

A COI is always available for the building at either end. Send each building's requirements with your request.
