What a Miami small move usually involves

  • Towers in Brickell, Downtown, Edgewater and Midtown. Service elevator reservations, move hours set by management, and certificate of insurance (COI) requests. Send us the building's rules; we send the COI. If the building or you must be named as additional insured, it's $75.
  • Older low-rise buildings in Little Havana, Allapattah, Shenandoah and Little River. Stairs with no elevator and tight stairwells. There's no stair fee: stairs are part of the hourly time. Tell us the floor so the estimate is right.
  • Curb space. Metered spots, bus lanes and narrow side streets. Tell us where a van can stop at each address; a long walk from the curb is part of the hourly time too.
  • Summer storms. Afternoon downpours are normal from June to October, so furniture is wrapped in pads and shrink wrap before it leaves the building.

Routes in and out of Miami

A Miami small move can stay inside the city (a studio from Edgewater to Brickell, a 1-bedroom from the Grove to Little Havana) or head out over the causeways to Miami Beach, west to Doral and Kendall, or north to Aventura and Broward. There's no travel fee: billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address, and the drive between your addresses is part of it.

One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom. More than that? We'll suggest a second trip or a second crew ($165/hour per crew; see Capsule moving).

Pricing

2 movers + Sprinter van: $165/hour · Minimum: 2 hours ($330) · After that: 30-minute increments ($82.50 each) · Billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address · No travel fee · No stair fees

Outside 7 AM–7 PM the rate is double ($330/hour, same minimum). One or two items only? That's a flat rate instead, priced in the chat from photos and both addresses. You get a written estimate before the job. See pricing →

Miami questions

My building in Little Havana has no elevator. Is there a stair fee?

No. Stairs are part of the hourly time, with no per-flight fees. Tell us the floor and the stair layout so the estimate gets the hours right.

Sometimes. Message us early in the chat with photos and both addresses. Same-day when we can, never guaranteed.
