Miami Beach condo and apartment moves

Miami Beach has two kinds of moves: oceanfront and bayside towers with elevator rules and COIs, and low-rise walk-ups in South Beach and North Beach where the stairs are the elevator. We do both.

Towers on Collins Avenue and the bay

Condos along Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach and North Beach, and towers on the bay side, usually want a service elevator reservation, a COI, and moves inside set hours. Ask management for their rules and send them to us. A COI naming the association or you as additional insured is $75. Any move fee or deposit the building charges is between you and the building.

Walk-ups in South Beach and North Beach

Many older low-rise buildings have no elevator, narrow stairwells and tight turns. That's fine: there are no stair fees, stairs are part of the hourly time. Tell us the floor, and send a photo of the stairs if a big piece has to go up.

Parking and the causeways

  • Parking. Curb space is tight and loading has to be quick. Tell us where a van can stop: a loading zone, the building's driveway, or the garage. Parking tickets aren't something we can cover, so the right spot matters.
  • Causeways. Moves to the mainland go over the MacArthur, Venetian, Julia Tuttle, 79th Street or Broad causeways. The drive between your addresses is billed time, so South Beach to Brickell takes less of it than South Beach to Kendall. There's no travel fee to get to you.

Miami Beach questions

My South Beach building has three floors and no elevator. Do you charge for stairs?

No. Stairs are part of the hourly time, with no per-flight fees. Tell us the floor so the estimate is right.

Is the building's move-in fee included?

No. Building fees and deposits are paid by you to the building. Our price covers the crew, the van and the time.

Can you deliver one piece of furniture to a Collins Avenue condo?

Yes. One or two items are a flat rate, priced in the chat from photos and both addresses. The building's elevator and COI rules still apply.

Do you move between Miami Beach and the mainland?
