Tampa condo and high-rise moves
Towers Downtown and along the Riverwalk, newer buildings in Channelside and the Water Street district, condos on Harbour Island and along Bayshore Boulevard. Tampa towers run on rules: service elevator reservations, dock and garage loading, move hours and COIs. We plan around them with two movers and a Sprinter van.

How Tampa towers work
- Service elevator windows. Most buildings ask you to book the service elevator for a set window and pad it. Tell us the window and we plan the order of items around it.
- COI requests. Management usually wants a certificate of insurance before the move. Send the certificate holder name and address and any wording they need.
- Docks and garages. Loading is often at a dock or inside the parking garage. Our high-roof Sprinter is taller than a car, so send the posted clearance. If it can't get in, we plan a dock or curbside load.
- Channelside and Water Street traffic. Event nights, cruise days at the port and the streetcar on Channelside Drive and Franklin Street all affect curb space. Ask the building where a van can stop, and pick a time away from big events.
Harbour Island, Bayshore and Westshore
Harbour Island buildings are reached over the bridge from Downtown, Davis Islands condos over the Davis Islands bridge, and Bayshore Boulevard towers face the water with tight drop-off lanes. Westshore and Rocky Point have their own towers near the airport and the Courtney Campbell. Tell us both buildings, both move windows and both elevator rules, and we plan the day around them.
We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we send 2, 3 or 4 crews with vans (see Capsule moving). Tampa questions
My building only allows moves at set hours. Can you work with that?
Yes. Tell us the window when you book and we plan the crew around it. Send the building's rules ahead of time.
What do you need for the COI?
The certificate holder name and address, plus any wording management wants. A COI is always available; if the building or you must be named as additional insured, it's $75.
Will your van fit in our garage?
Send the posted clearance height. If our high-roof van can't get in, we load from the dock or the curb and plan the carry.
Does the building charge its own move fee?
Some do. Building fees and deposits are between you and the building; we don't add or collect them.
