West Palm Beach condo and high-rise moves

Waterfront towers along Flagler Drive, downtown condos near Clematis Street and Okeechobee Boulevard, and mid-rise buildings on the Intracoastal. Towers run on rules: elevator reservations, move hours, COIs and garage loading. We plan around them with two movers and a Sprinter van.

How West Palm Beach towers work

  • Service elevator windows. Most towers ask you to book the service elevator for a set window and pad it. Tell us the window and we plan the crew and the order of items around it.
  • COI requests. Management usually wants a certificate of insurance before the move. Send the certificate holder name and address and any wording they need.
  • Garage loading. Loading areas are often inside the parking garage. Our high-roof Sprinter is taller than a car, so send us the posted clearance. If it can't get in, we plan a curbside or dock load.
  • Downtown curb space. Flagler Drive and the streets around Clematis are busy, especially on event days. Morning moves are easier; ask the building where a van can stop.

Seasonal moves and Palm Beach island

Many West Palm Beach condo moves follow the season: a unit set up before the owners arrive, a few pieces into storage before they leave, or furniture moved between a downtown condo and a building across the bridge on Palm Beach island. If you won't be there, tell the front desk we're coming and have someone you trust let the crew in.

Moving out of the tower to Broward or Miami-Dade? One crew and one van the whole way. There's no travel fee; billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address. Fewer rooms? See small moves in West Palm Beach.

West Palm Beach questions

My building only allows moves at set hours. Can you work with that?

Yes. We work 7 days a week, 7 AM–7 PM. Tell us the window when you book. If the building only allows moves before 7 AM or after 7 PM, that time is billed at double rate.

What do you need for the COI?

The certificate holder name and address, plus any wording management wants. A COI is always available; if the building or you must be named as additional insured, it's $75.

Will your van fit in our garage?

Send the posted clearance height. If our high-roof van can't get in, we load from the curb or the dock and plan the carry.

Does the building charge its own move fee?

Some do. Building fees and deposits are between you and the building; we don't add or collect them.
