What we plan around in Palmetto Bay

  • Long driveways and big lots. Many houses sit well back from the street behind gates and hedges. Tell us whether a van can pull into the driveway and send the gate code; a long carry is part of the hourly time, not an extra fee.
  • Low branches. Old Cutler Road and many side streets sit under a thick tree canopy. Our Sprinter is a high-roof van, so tell us if branches hang low over your driveway and we'll stop where it fits.
  • Townhomes and apartments near US-1. Two-story townhomes with turning staircases and apartment buildings with office move hours. No stair fees: stairs are part of the hourly time.
  • Summer storms. Afternoon downpours are normal from June to October, so furniture is wrapped in pads before it leaves the house.

There's no travel fee: billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address, and the drive between your addresses is part of it.

One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew (each crew: $195 for the first hour, then $165/hour). Already have a rental truck? We also do labor-only loading at the same hourly rate.

A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building. Adding the building as additionally insured is $75.

Palmetto Bay questions

Our house is at the end of a long driveway. Is that extra?

No. There's no carry fee: the walk from the van to the door is part of the hourly time. Tell us where a van can stop so the estimate gets the hours right.

Can you move furniture into storage before our renovation?

Yes. That's an hourly job at $195 for the first hour, then $165/hour for 2 movers + the van, in 30-minute increments. Bringing it back later is booked as a second job.
