What we plan around in Coral Gables
- City and HOA rules. Coral Gables has its own rules for parking and commercial vehicles on residential streets, and many associations add their own move hours. Tell us anything your building, HOA or street requires and we plan the stop around it.
- Downtown Gables and Ponce de Leon condos. Service elevator bookings, move windows and COI requests. A COI naming the building or you as additional insured is $75.
- Older homes. Narrow doorways, front steps, tight hallways and staircases that turn. There's no stair fee: it's all part of the hourly time. Send a photo if a big piece has to get through a tight spot.
- Gated communities near the bay. Leave our name and arrival time with the guard, or send the visitor pass details, so the crew isn't held at the gate on your clock.
Students, renters and short moves
A lot of Coral Gables moves are short: a lease ending near the university, a studio to a 1-bedroom a few blocks away, a parent's furniture to a smaller condo, or a few pieces into a storage unit. Short moves are still hourly, with a 2-hour minimum, so it helps to have boxes packed and taped before the crew arrives.
Longer runs are normal too: south to Pinecrest and Kendall, east to Brickell and Coconut Grove, or up to Broward. There's no travel fee; the drive between your addresses is part of the billed time.
Pricing
2 movers + Sprinter van: $165/hour · Minimum: 2 hours ($330) · After that: 30-minute increments ($82.50 each) · Billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address · No travel fee · No stair fees
Outside 7 AM–7 PM the rate is double ($330/hour, same minimum). One or two items only? That's a flat rate instead, priced in the chat from photos and both addresses. You get a written estimate before the job. See pricing →
Coral Gables questions
My HOA in Coral Gables only allows moves on weekdays. Can you work with that?
Yes. We work 7 days a week, 7 AM–7 PM. Tell us the allowed days and hours when you book and we schedule inside them.
Do you move students near the university?
Yes. Dorm and apartment move-outs, a few pieces to storage, or a studio across town. A whole studio is an hourly small move; one or two items are a flat rate, priced in the chat.
My condo on Ponce de Leon needs a COI. Can you send one?
Yes. Send the building's requirements when you book. If the building or you must be named as additional insured, that COI is $75.
Is there a stair fee for an older two-story house?
No. Stairs are part of the hourly time, with no per-flight fees. Tell us about the stairs so the estimate gets the hours right.
