What we plan around in Venice
- The island. Downtown Venice and the streets near the beach sit on an island reached by drawbridges over the Intracoastal Waterway, and a bridge opening can hold traffic for a few minutes. Tell us both addresses and we'll plan around it.
- Condos and older low-rise buildings. Association move rules, elevators in some buildings and outside stairs in others. Send the rules; a certificate of insurance (COI) is always available, and there are no stair fees.
- 55+ and manufactured-home communities. Office registration, community move rules and narrow lanes. Tell us the rules and where the van can park.
- Seasonal residents. Setting up a place for the winter or moving a few pieces to storage or to family before summer. Tell us what's moving and send photos.
Getting around Venice
Venice moves run on US 41 (both the Tamiami Trail and the bypass), Venice Avenue, Jacaranda Boulevard, River Road, Center Road and I-75. US 41 is busiest in the winter season, so a mid-morning start often helps. Nokomis, North Port, Englewood and Sarasota are within reach; tell us both addresses and we'll plan the route.
We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew. Moving to Venice from Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach? That's an in-state move: ask in the chat for a quote.

Venice questions
We live in a 55+ community that requires registration at the office. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us the community's rules and the office hours, and send any paperwork it needs from the mover. If it asks for a certificate of insurance, we'll prepare it.
We're moving from a condo on the island to a villa east of I-75. Is there a minimum?
No. It's hourly: $195 for the first hour for 2 movers + the van, then $165/hour in 30-minute increments.
Do you do local moves inside Venice, or only moves from South Florida?
Both. Our crews are based in South Florida, so ask in the chat for a quote for your addresses and date.
Can you move me out of Florida?
No. We move only within Florida.
