Small moves in Lakewood Ranch

Lakewood Ranch spreads across Manatee and Sarasota counties east of I-75: villages of villas, carriage homes and single-family homes, each with its own HOA, new sections still being built off SR 70 and SR 64, and apartments near University Parkway. Two movers and a Sprinter van for the villa, the townhome, or the few rooms you're moving.

What we plan around in Lakewood Ranch

  • Each village has its own rules. Gate lists, move hours and van parking rules can differ from one neighborhood to the next. Tell us the village and send the HOA rules.
  • Villas and carriage homes. Attached homes with a shared driveway, or a carriage home over the garages with an inside staircase. Tell us the unit type and the floor; there are no stair fees.
  • New builds. Closing-day moves into new sections where the builder is still working next door. Tell us the closing date and whether the street is open to vans.
  • Downsizing. Moving from an older house in Sarasota or Bradenton into a smaller villa here: we move the pieces you keep, and you tell us which rooms they go to.

Getting around Lakewood Ranch

Lakewood Ranch moves run on University Parkway, Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, SR 70, SR 64, Lorraine Road and I-75. University Parkway near I-75 is busy at rush hour and in the winter season, so a mid-morning start often helps. Sarasota, Bradenton and Parrish are close; tell us both addresses and we'll plan the route.

We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew. Moving to Lakewood Ranch from Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach? Lakewood Ranch questions

Our HOA has rules for move days. Can you work with them?

Yes. Send the rules and put the crew on the gate list. If the HOA needs a certificate of insurance, send its requirements and we'll prepare it.

We're downsizing from Sarasota into a villa in Lakewood Ranch. Can you move only part of the house?

Yes. It's hourly, so you pay for the time the move takes: $195 for the first hour for 2 movers + the van, then $165/hour in 30-minute increments, no minimum.

Do you do local moves inside Lakewood Ranch, or only moves from South Florida?

Both. Our crews are based in South Florida, so ask in the chat for a quote for your addresses and date.

Do you send a big truck?

No. We don't have any big trucks, vans only. For a bigger move we suggest a second trip or a second crew.
