Small moves in Punta Gorda

Punta Gorda sits on Charlotte Harbor: a historic downtown near Marion Avenue, canal-front homes in Punta Gorda Isles with seawalls and docks, and streets out along Burnt Store Road. Two movers and a Sprinter van for the downtown cottage, the canal house, or the few rooms you're moving.

What we plan around in Punta Gorda

  • Historic downtown by the harbor. Older homes and low-rise buildings near Marion Avenue and the waterfront, with tight downtown parking. Tell us where the van can stop closest to the door.
  • Punta Gorda Isles. Finger-canal lots with seawalls, boat docks and lanais, on quieter streets where a longer carry from the van is common. Send a photo of the driveway and the path around the house.
  • Burnt Store Road. Homes heading south toward the Lee County line, some in gated or HOA sections. Put the crew on the gate list if there is one and send any rules; a certificate of insurance (COI) is always available.
  • Seasonal households. Opening a place for the winter, or moving a few pieces to storage or to family before summer. Tell us what's moving and send photos.

Getting around Punta Gorda

Punta Gorda moves run on US 41, I-75, Marion Avenue, Burnt Store Road and Jones Loop Road. US 41 and the I-75 ramps are busiest in the winter season, so a mid-morning start often helps. Port Charlotte is to the north, North Port to the northwest, and Cape Coral and Fort Myers to the south. Tell us both addresses and we'll plan the route.

We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we send 2, 3 or 4 crews with vans (see Capsule moving).
