Small moves in Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach has two sides: the beachside, a narrow strip of condo towers and small homes along A1A between the ocean and the Halifax River, and the mainland, with older neighborhoods, apartments near the universities and new communities west of I-95. Two movers and a Sprinter van for the condo, the apartment, or the few rooms you're moving.

What we plan around in Daytona Beach

  • Beachside condos on A1A. Service elevators, loading areas and move hours set by the association, on a road with little parking. Send the building's rules; a certificate of insurance (COI) is always available.
  • Event weeks. Race weeks and the big motorcycle events fill the roads and the beachside. If your date falls on one, tell us early so we plan the timing.
  • Apartments near the universities and International Speedway Boulevard. Garden buildings with outside stairs, gate codes and leasing-office hours. Tell us the floor and the gate; there are no stair fees.
  • New communities west of I-95. New floors, HOA rules and guard gates. We bring pads and floor protection; leave our name at the gate.

Getting around Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach moves run on I-95, I-4, US 1 (Ridgewood Avenue), International Speedway Boulevard, Nova Road, Beville Road, LPGA Boulevard and A1A. The beachside is over the Halifax River bridges, so tell us both addresses and we'll plan the crossing. Ormond Beach is to the north, Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach to the south, and Orlando is down I-4. Summer afternoon storms are common: we pad and wrap furniture before it leaves the building.

We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew. Moving to Daytona Beach from Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach? That's an in-state move: ask in the chat for a quote.

Daytona Beach questions

Our condo is on A1A. What do you need from us?

The building's move rules, the elevator booking and the move window, and where the van can stop. Send the COI requirements and we'll prepare the certificate.

Do you do local moves inside Daytona Beach?

Yes. Our crews are based in South Florida, so ask in the chat for a quote for your addresses and date. There's no minimum: $195 for the first hour for 2 movers + the van, then $165/hour in 30-minute increments.

Can you bring a big truck for a whole house?

We don't have any big trucks, vans only. For a whole house we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew.

I only need movers, not a van. Is that cheaper?

It's the same price. The crew still comes in the van, because they need transport and the van carries all the moving equipment: dollies, pads, straps and tools.

Daytona Beach move or delivery coming up? Send a photo in the chat.
