What we plan around in the Keys

Raised (stilt) homes. Living areas up an outside staircase. No stair fees; send a photo of the stairs.
One road in and out. Everything runs on US-1, the Overseas Highway, so we plan the start time around the drive and the bridges.
Canal-front streets and condos. Narrow streets, short driveways, building move rules. Tell us where a van can stop; a certificate of insurance (COI) is always available.
Weather. Furniture is wrapped in pads before it leaves the house, and we watch the forecast in storm season.

Upper, Middle and Lower Keys

The Upper Keys (Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada) are the closest to our South Miami-Dade crew. The Middle Keys (Marathon) and the Lower Keys (Big Pine Key, Key West) are a longer drive. Moves between the Keys and the mainland, and inside the Keys, are at the same standard prices, with no surcharge and no travel fee.

One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew. We move only within Florida.

2 movers + Sprinter van: $195 for the first hour · Then $165/hour per crew, billed in 30-minute increments · Billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address · No travel fee · No stair fees

The Keys is part of our regular area, at the same standard prices as Miami: no Keys surcharge and no travel fee. One or two items only? A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building. Adding the building as additionally insured is $75.

Can you bring furniture from a Miami store to my place in the Keys?

Yes. Send the store, the order or a photo, and your address. Have the item paid for before we arrive.

My house is on stilts. Is there a stair fee?

No. There are no stair fees; stairs are part of the hourly time.
