What we plan around in Sunrise

  • 55+ condo communities. Sunrise Lakes and similar communities have many buildings, a gate, and association rules for movers. Tell us the building and floor, whether there's an elevator, and what the office needs; if they ask for a COI, we send it.
  • East Sunrise homes. Single-story houses and duplexes between University Drive and State Road 7, often with a carport and a short driveway. Tell us where a van can stop.
  • Welleby and Springtree. Family neighborhoods with lakes and quiet streets, some with HOA rules on move days. Tell us what the HOA allows.
  • West Sunrise apartments. Communities near the Sawgrass Expressway and Flamingo Road with leasing-office move hours, garages and elevators. Send us the office's rules and the garage clearance: our high-roof Sprinter is taller than a car.

Routes from Sunrise

Sunrise connects to I-595, I-75 and the Sawgrass Expressway, so Plantation, Tamarac, Lauderhill, Weston, Davie and Coral Springs are short drives. On arena event nights traffic around the west end of Sunrise gets heavy, so we plan long routes earlier in the day. There's no travel fee: billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address, and the drive between your addresses is part of it.

One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we'll suggest a second trip or a second crew ($165/hour per crew).

A certificate of insurance (COI) is always available for your building. Adding the building as additionally insured is $75.

Sunrise questions

Can you move my parent into a condo in Sunrise Lakes?

Yes. Send both addresses, the building and floor, and the association's move rules. If they need a COI, it's always available; naming them as additional insured is $75.

Will your van fit in my apartment garage?

Send the posted clearance height. If our high-roof van can't get in, we load from the curb or the loading area and plan the carry.

Is there a travel fee to Sunrise?

No. There's no travel fee anywhere we work: billed time starts when the crew arrives at your first address.

Can you move just one or two pieces?

Yes. One or two items are a flat rate, priced in the chat from photos and both addresses.
