Small moves in Ormond Beach

Ormond Beach sits just north of Daytona Beach, split by the Halifax River: historic mainland streets around Granada Boulevard, riverside homes, quieter beachside houses reached over the Granada Bridge, and neighborhoods west of I-95 toward the Tomoka River. Two movers and a Sprinter van for the house, the apartment, or the few rooms you're moving.

What we plan around in Ormond Beach

  • Granada Boulevard and the mainland. Older homes and downtown streets along Granada Boulevard (SR 40), with porch entries, tight curb space and parallel parking. Tell us where the van can stop and send a photo of the entry.
  • The Granada Bridge and the riverside. Homes along the Halifax River, some with long carries from the street to a dockside or side yard. Send a photo of the driveway and the path to the door.
  • Beachside residential streets. Houses and low-rise buildings along John Anderson Drive and the quieter ocean-side blocks, with little room for a box truck. Tell us about parked cars and which side of the street is clearer.
  • West of I-95, toward the Tomoka River. Single-family neighborhoods and HOA streets off Tymber Creek Road. Put the crew on the gate list if there is one and send any association rules; a certificate of insurance (COI) is always available.

Getting around Ormond Beach

Ormond Beach moves run on Granada Boulevard (SR 40), US 1 (Ridgewood Avenue), Nova Road, I-95, A1A, John Anderson Drive, Tymber Creek Road and Beach Street. The Granada Bridge is the main crossing over the Halifax River, so tell us both addresses and we'll plan the crossing. Daytona Beach is to the south, Port Orange farther south, and Palm Coast to the north. Summer afternoon storms are common: we pad and wrap furniture before it leaves the building.

We move only within Florida, and we don't have any big trucks, vans only. One van holds about 500 cubic feet, roughly a studio or a light 1-bedroom; for more, we send 2, 3 or 4 crews with vans (see Capsule moving). Ormond Beach questions

Our house is on the beachside over the Granada Bridge. Does that change the price?

It's still hourly for local moves: $195 for the first hour for 2 movers + the van, then $165/hour in 30-minute increments, no minimum. Tell us both addresses and where the van can stop.

We're in a neighborhood west of I-95 with a gate. What do you need?

Put the crew on the gate list for the day and send any HOA rules for vans. If they need a certificate of insurance, send the requirements and we'll prepare it.

Do you do local moves inside Ormond Beach, or only moves from South Florida?

Both. Our crews are based in South Florida, so ask in the chat for a quote for your addresses and date.

Can you move me out of Florida?

No. We move only within Florida.
